Paolo Dolzan was born in Mezzolombardo (Trento,Italy) in May 1974.
He attended the Institute of Fine Arts in Trento and later completed his university education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where he graduated in 1998. In march 2004 the painter founded the art gallery Spazio27 in Trento, with the aim of promoting confrontation and interchange among Italian and international artists; this experience absorbed Dolzan for two intense years, that offered many opportunities to meet and cooperate with colleague artists.
He has been Professor of History of Art and Drawing at Secondary School for twenty years.
He has organized more than one hundred artistic events in Italy and abroad with numerous artists. He is the author of many publications and critical texts.
Since 2014 he has been Artistic Director of the “Pietre D’acqua” international granite sculpture symposium (Villa Agnedo, Italy).
His works have been exhibited in about two hundred personal and collective exhibitions, in Italy, Europe, Russia, China and the USA.
