Max de Esteban’s works and projects have been subject of solo and group exhibitions at prominent institutions worldwide such as National Museum of Photography in Berlin, XIII La Habana Biennial, Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Deutsche Technik Museum in Berlin, Virreina-Centre d’Imatge in Barcelona,
NRW-Forum in Dusseldorf, Institute of Contemporary Art San José, Fotofest Biennial in Houston, Darmstädter Triennial, Mirbach Palais in Bratislava and Palais de Tokyo in Paris.
His published monographs are Twenty Red Lights (2018), Propositions (2015), Heads will Roll (2014) and Elegies of Manumission (2012) and his work is included in museum collections worldwide, including Museum of Fine Arts Houston, Museu de
Arte Moderna do Rio de Janeiro, Deutsche Technik Museum, Central European House of Photography and National Museum of Photography in Berlin.
Max holds an Engineering degree from Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, a Master from Stanford University and a PhD in Business and Economics from Universitat Ramon Llull.
