She was born in 1953 in Naples, a city incredibly rich in its artistic background which mainly contributed to shape her artistic skills. The Roman sculpture, the fancy Baroque style, the  daily and close acquaintance of the artist  with the ancient architectural surroundings of her land, can be considered as her first “teachers”. Her works, realized through a skillful dealing with light and colour and through the harmonic alternation of forms and volumes, show one common feature - the steady search for an ancient everlasting beauty and art balance. Her compositions recall photographic shots, but her painting is NOT based on photography,  is executed as the ancient masters used to paint, with traditional means. Some of her personal exhibitions of the last decade are: Magma, organized at the Museum ´La Permanente´ in Milan  and in Rome at Palazzo Ruspoli, 2010; Uno sguardo dall’Olimpo ( A look from Olympus), Shanghai, Moganshan Chantilly Art Center in 2008; Au delà de la Vérité (Beyond Truth), Montecarlo, 2007; Allusione della Forma (Hinting at Form), Naples, Maschio Angioino, 2005; Anima Minima (Minimum Soul) , Rome, Palazzo Barberini, in 2001 and in Milan at the Palazzo delle Stelline in 2000.
